Design/Tech

While my design and tech projects are not as prevalent as other areas I have worked in, I have plenty of experience thanks to classes and shadowing opportunities. If you require other service, I am willing to learn and ready to work!

Costumes

Sound of Music Youth Edition (Broadway in the Park)

Costume Designer

July 29 and 30, 2022

Majority of the costumes were created by pulling from the studio's stock, but most of the Von Trap Children and Maria costumes were hand made by me and my team using custom templates to create reversible vests, base skirt/shorts, and lederhosen for the family. Our little kid ensemble (used for two numbers in the first act) also had custom dresses/shorts made from my own pattern. In addition to creating the looks I took care of hemming, cleaning, and organizing the backstage wardrobe crew.

Sister Act Jr. (Broadway in the Park)

Costume Designer

July 29 and 30, 2022

Through the use of the ensemble and other non-nun characters, I used their costumes to provide color and light to the stage since the production happened outside during the daytime. I made it my goal to add as much color to the stage so that the nun habits didn't pull down the lively nature of the production. There was not much construction for this show as most of it existed in the studio's stock already.
